Property Snagging
What is property snagging?
A comprehensive property inspection to identify defects in construction, finishing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations. We focus on issues that could affect the safety, functionality or long-term performance of the property.
My property looks perfect. Do I still need an inspection?
A property can look finished and still contain issues such as uneven flooring, poor sealant, plumbing or electrical faults, AC issues or incomplete installations. An independent inspection is how you find out before you accept it.
Pre-Handover
When is a pre-handover inspection carried out?
Before the buyer officially takes possession of a new property from the developer, so defects can be rectified before handover. More about pre-handover inspection.
What do you check?
Structural elements, finishes, mechanical systems and installation quality, including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical outlets, lighting, air-conditioning, kitchens, bathrooms and built-in fittings.
11th Month Inspection
Why inspect in the 11th month?
It's your final check before the developer's warranty expires: an opportunity to identify construction defects, installation issues and finishing problems before the defect liability period ends. More about the 11th month inspection.
Secondary Market
Can you inspect a resale property before I buy?
Yes. A Secondary Market Inspection helps you understand the true condition of a resale property, including finishes, plumbing, electrical, mechanical items and fixtures, before completing the purchase.
Post-Renovation
What does a post-renovation inspection cover?
Paintwork, tiling, cabinetry, plumbing connections, electrical fittings, lighting fixtures and other modifications, to verify the quality, safety, workmanship and completion of the work before final acceptance.
Reporting
What does the snagging report include?
High-resolution photos, a description of each issue, location tagging and a severity assessment, presented in a comprehensive, easy-to-understand format.
Can I share the report with my developer?
Yes. The report is designed to help the developer understand the defects and complete the necessary rectifications.
Re-Inspection
Do you offer re-inspection?
Yes. After rectification, we offer a re-inspection service to verify that all snags have been properly resolved to your satisfaction.
